This is one of the most impressive works in Lanzarote by artist César Manrique. Caring for and making the most of the environment created by nature, the artist decided to create a trip to the middle of the Earth.
Jameos del Agua is a trip through a volcanic tunnel, caused by the eruption of the Corona volcano, approximately 21,000 years ago. This volcanic tunnel extends over 6 kilometres. Inside it you will find a large natural pool containing albino crabs, a restaurant with different shows (advance booking is required) and a museum about the geography of Lanzarote.
